Birth Tribe certainly did a great job matching my husband and me with 4 wonderful doula's to interview. During our interview with Mischa we knew that her approach would resonate with our being first time parents. She emphasized her desire to keep joy in the birth process even even things did not go as planned. I welcomed this approach because so much is unpredictable during birth and I knew I wanted to be able to proudly share my birth story with others after delivery. 

Mischa has an effortless way of being in tune to the various feelings my husband and I were experiencing throughout pregnancy and during labor and birth. I appreciated her checking in throughout to stay in the know of our progress. She often offered words of comfort and reassurance which were very needed.  

During labor at the hospital, Mischa's support was spectacular. She empowered me to believe in myself and my abilities and always involved my husband in the process. I felt that I could be my complete authentic self with her and this is because of the trust she builds in the doula relationship leading up to the big day. 

Mischa has great resources that she draws from and this was very helpful for my husband and me when seeking additional information and support leading up to and upon giving birth.   

My husband and I were completely satisfied with our time with Mischa and working with her was a pleasure. I would highly recommend Mischa to any family looking for someone who has high empathy, a joyful spirit, and is resourceful.  

I am confidently able to say that I'm proud of my birth story and I find joy in retelling it, all due to the care that Mischa provided my family.
